Neal Caffrey, forger a conman and thief, is recorded after a game of cat and mouse using the FBI. With just months left serving a sentence, he escapes to look for Kate. Peter Burke, the FBI agent who seized Caffrey, returns and finds him to prison. This time, Caffrey suggests that a deal with the FBI, as part of a program. After some reluctance, where Caffrey helps collar offenders are apprehended by Burke Burke agrees, and thus begins this arrangement.
