Overview:
The Kids in the Hall is a Canadian sketch comedy Band formed in 1984, consisting of Kevin McDonald, comedians Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson. Their television series conducted from 1988 to 1994 in the United States on CBC in Canada, and 1989 to 1995 on CBS and HBO. The theme song for the series was that the instrumental"with an Average Weekend" by the Canadian ring Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet.
One picture, Brain Candy, that was released in 1996 was made by the troupe. The troupe re formed for a variety of tours and comedy festivals in 2000. They released an eight-part Mini Series, Death Comes 2010, in January.
The name of the group originated in Sid Caesar, that, when a joke did not go over, or played than expected, could attribute it to"the kids in the hallway", referring to an organization of young authors hanging across the studio.
