After a protracted distance mission, two astronauts (Steve Barkett and Larry Latham) return to an Earth altered by nuclear warfare. As mutants and renegade gangs rule la, the astronauts combine two pretty ladies and a few children in a resistance movement that is developing. This sci fi experience follows the men since they battle bell-bottomed biker pioneer Cutter and his barbarous gang.
