Survivors is actually a British postapocalyptic fiction tv show produced by Terence Dudley at the BBC in 1975 to 1977 and devised by Terry Nation. It concerns the plight of a set of those who have survived an accidentally released plague -- described as"The Death" -- that destroys nearly the whole human population of Earth.
