Overview:
Seven-year-old Yoon-jeong is a talented child artist who was born into a family of renowned court painters. Though women aren't permitted to pursue careers as professional painters, pressure is placed on her brother to continue the cherished family legacy. Yoon-jeong supports her brother by painting for him covertly while he prepares to take his place in the court. When her brother commits suicide, the little girl's life is completely upended. She is compelled to live under her brother's name and defend the family honor by adopting his identity. Another legendary teacher of the day, Kim Hong-do, is captivated by Yun-brilliance bok's and aptitude. However, the royal institute has denounced her audacious representations of women as offensive. After meeting Kang-mu, Yun-bok develops a strong love for him. She suddenly has a great urge to let go of everything she has created and present the man she loves with just being a woman.
