Elliott Carson investigates Jean Courtland and John Triton after she attempts suicide. In flashback, we observe stage mentalist Triton having precognitive flashes. Whitney Courtland utilizes Triton's skill to gain money, but he breaks up the show and becomes a hermit. Triton has new visions and tries to avert Courtland family tragedy. His warnings face distrust, disbelief, and fate.
