While most ladies her age would prefer a luxury holiday with their loved ones, Rin Shima prefers to spend her days off camping alone at the base of Mount Fuji. She has always done everything by herself, from pitching her tent to gathering firewood, and she has no plans to leave her little isolated world. What begins as one of Rin's normal camping trips ends up as a surprise get-together for two when the lost Nadeshiko Kagamihara is forced to seek safety at her campground. Nadeshiko's aspirations to witness the gorgeous vista of Mount Fuji for herself are derailed when she falls asleep on the way there. She is alone and has no other option but to seek assistance from the only other person nearby. Despite their hurried introductions, the two girls spend the frigid night together, eating ramen and discussing over the campfire. Even after Nadeshiko's sister eventually comes to get her up later that night, both girls discreetly consider another camping trip together.
