Overview:
Casualty, stylised as CASUAL+Y, is also the emergency medical drama television series on the planet, and just really a British drama television series which airs weekly on BBC One. Created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin, it was first broadcast on 6 and sent on BBC One in the United Kingdom. The producer was Geraint Morris.
The programme is based around the literary Holby City Hospital and concentrates to the staff and patients of the hospital Accident and Emergency Department. The show has very few ties Holby City which began as a spin away at 1999 from Casualty and is put in the exact same hospital, but up stairs. Each show can be followed without having to view the other, but this is rare, although the show's plots and characters periodically cross over between both programs. Casualty is shown each week.
