Blue Water High is an Australian drama series that airs on ABC1 and the Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia, as well as on different channels in many other countries. Each season follows the life of a group of young pupils at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where a few lucky 16-year-olds are chosen for a 12-month surfing program on Sydney's northern beaches. Blue Water High has three different series. The first two series were shown in 2005 and 2006, and the producers did not plan to make a third one. But because fans wanted more, they gave in and made one more season with only Kate Bell as the main character. Solar Blue ended after the third season, which meant that the show probably wouldn't go on.
