Overview:
Significant Day titled A Day in the Life, is an American situation comedy that aired on ABC from November 28, 2006 . The series had been co-produced by Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa and directed by Michael Spiller for Sony Pictures Television. Back in Canada, the series aired on CanWest's Global and CH channels.
Originally, it was designed to launch October 5, 2006, along with Notes from the under belly, but ABC made a last-minute change in its own program by simply moving Ugly Betty into Thursday, hence replacing both sitcoms whose"buzz" was not particularly promising.
Significant Day was aired on Tuesdays 8:00c. The time-slot was to be filled by a second brand new sit com which had an improved"buzz," The Knights of Prosperity, but ABC transferred that program to Wednesdays to produce Big Day a priority. According to the evaluations, wedding day turned out to be a ratings disappointment.
Just 12 of those 13 episodes aired leaving the 13th episode, titled The Check, unaired when Enormous Day ended its season on January 30, 2007.
On May 15, 2007,'' ABC officially cancelled the series after the network announced their 2007 2008 fall program.
A picture based on the series was cancelled in evolution. Back in 2010, a re-version of the movie adaptation is now in pre production.
